LANEIGE’S NEO FOUNDATION MATTE ALL COLORS FACE SWATCH HIGH COVER NEO CUSHION COLOR COMPARISON
A foundation with a comfortable finish as if it were your own skin
that evens out the skin with fine micro-particle,
without the stuffiness and heaviness of a matte foundation.
I will be showing all the colors from Laneige’s Neo Foundation Matte
as I try each of them out on my face and also show you a color comparison
with the Neo Foundation and Neo Cushion Matte.
Laneige’s Neo Foundation Matte
was launched due to the popularity of the Neo Cushion Matte.
Said to express watercolor like clear and bright skin,
this foundation is said to have an ultra-light formulation
that leaves almost no residual oil and only powder at the moment it is applied.
The huge cap is magnetic.
When opening the lid,
you can see the neon orange colored opening
which appears to be the signature of the Neo line.
The pump type container allows the
foundation to be used easily and neatly.
Applying it on to the back of my hand after giving it a nice shake,
it applied on smoothly and moistly
After applying it on, I could feel it being highly adhesive.
It creates seemingly smooth skin.
While it doesn’t feel greasy as soon as it is applied on,
it appears to get slightly softer as time passes.
Upon applying on all the colors they seem have a somewhat calmer shade
compared to the Neo Cushion Matte.
The Neo Cushion Matte has seven shades,
but the Neo Foundation Matte is available in eight shades,
with 17N being divided into 17N1 and 17C1
17C1 is said to suit those who use 17N in the cushion.
I personally find that 17N1 seems to go well for those who
uses the Neo Cushion Matte 13N
In addition to the Neo Foundation Matte,
a line called High Cover was also released.
This was released in two shades: 21n! and 23N1
Unlike the Neo Foundation Matte,
this felt smooth and moist
Upon applying it, it seems to make the skin look moist.
As the Matte becomes fixed, the tone slightly drops,
but the High Cover stays looking bright even after a long time.
When comparing the same shades, the High Cover ones
seems to be a bit brighter.
However, as the High Cover is moist and slightly thicker than Matte,
it definitely smears more when compared to the Matte.
The Neo Foundation
also comes with a brush and puff
that can be used with it
The soft and short bristles of the brush
looks good to cover pores create thin and smooth skin.
It works to create natural looking skin.
The puff is round and cute and is fairly soft.
It makes good use of the foundation’s strengths
and enhances the coverage,
so it is good for creating even more perfect looking skin
The Neo Foundation Matte introduced today
is a foundation with minimal mask smearing
and is a foundation that I would really recommend
for those who have been enjoying the Neo Cushion Matte.
It doesn’t feel stuffy, and it does not smear much.
Although there will be scratches from wearing a mask,
you can easily fix it with the Neo Cushion
to make it look the same as it first did,
so it is a good foundation that can be used in many ways.
Without having to wear a mask,
it would really appear to be a long lasting foundation that
can last all day without falling apart.
If you’re normally a fan of matte foundations, but dislike how stuffy they feel,
someone who is looking for a foundation that is less smearing on to masks,
or if you are a fan of the Neo Cushion Matte,
I would recommend trying out Laneige’s Neo Foundation Matte
If you find the Neo Cushion Matte to feel a bit dry,
then I would recommend trying the slightly moister Neo Foundation High Cover :)
