LANEIGE’S NEO CUSHION GLOW ALL COLORS FACE SWATCH REVIEW
Let me show you all the shades of the
24 hours self-luminous reflective skin setting
Laneige’s Neo Cushion Glow
as I try out each shade on my face.
I previously introduced Laneige’s Neo Cushion Matte,
and this time, I bring you the Glow version
which is great for the winter season.
The Neo Cushion Glow is said to contain
Liquid Diamond; a liquid made of diamonds
that have undergone a micronization process,
to provide an all around radiant glow.
It is said to be a cushion
that contains a moisturizing agent that’s 7 times
stronger than the Basic Whitening BB cushion,
to provide long lasting moisture.
It also contains niacinamide,
so it’s said that you can expect it to provide
a real brightening affect like you would
in skin care products.
When opening the lid,
you’ll see that it comes with a pretty puff inside.
This puff is known as a light reflective puff
that helps the cushion to be applied evenly and smoothly
on to the skin.
Unlike other puffs, this felt slightly stiffer and thicker.
One of the highlights of Laneige’s Neo Cushion
is how it can be easily attached and detached from the case.
You can just easily twist it on and off.
Most cushion have a lid that opens to the left,
which is convenient for right handed people.
By giving it a slight twist and taking it out.
You can pop it back in reverse.
The lid then opens to the right,
therefore allowing easy to use comfort for those
who are left-handed.
When you first open up the protective cap,
you can see that the cushion is completely sealed up.
The formulation of the content seemed
to be that of a slightly viscous liquid formulation,
that has a very soft application.
It adheres thinly and creates subtle glowing skin,
so it is a cushion that would be great to use
even for beginners as well.
Like the Neo Cushion Matte,
Laneige’s Neo Cushion Glow comes in seven shades.
Upon swatching each shade one by one,
I can see that they have a subtle tone difference with each other.
From the brightest 13N Ivory to the darkest 25N Tan,
it’s stated that the seven shades
are based on various data from AMOREPACIFIC.
I think it should be easy to choose a shade that suits our skin tone.
13N Ivory is the brightest of the seven tones.
This shade has a very slight yellow color.
17N is a tone that is similar to Ivory, but with a more pinkish feel.
I find this tone appears brighter due to the visible pink tone it has.
21C Cool beige is a No.21 shade with a pink base.
This is a shade that is great for creating bright and vibrant looking skin.
21N Beige is a neutral feeling No.21 shade.
This is the perfect tone for those who are using No.21
23C Cool Sand is the shade that feels most pink among the seven colors.
It’s a great shade for lively No.23 toned skin.
23N Sand is suitable for those who normally uses No.23.
It’s a tone that creates a calm and clean looking skin tone.
25N Tan being the darkest shade of the line
actually doesn’t look that much different from Sand.
It is slightly more yellowish in color in comparison to Sand.
Upon trying out all seven shades,
I found that the seven shades didn’t have that much of a difference
between each other.
I found that the subtle difference in tones were more noticeable
when I applied them on my arm previously to compare the shades.
As the different tones are carefully divided into yellow and pink bases,
it should be quite easy to choose a tone that’s more suitable for your skin.
The application is quite thin,
it glows, and has good coverage.
The lasting power is also quite good.
The smearing isn’t severely bad.
It is a cushion that is good for expressing beautiful,
radiant skin without leaving your skin feeling stuffy,
therefore it appears to be a comfortable cushion
for even those with oily and combination skin
and enjoys expressing glowy skin.
