NATURE REPUBLIC’S GREEN DERMA MILD CICA SERUM COVER CUSHION REVIEW
A non smearing cushion
that has been tested to not smear on to masks.
Introducing Nature Republic’s Green Derma Mild Cica Serum Cover Cushion.
I was very intrigued when I first saw the advertisement for
Nature Republic’s Green Derma Mild Cica Serum Cover Cushion.
Although this cushion advertises that it contains Cica Serum
as its core ingredient to provide comfortable cover
to those with even delicate skin,
what I found to be the focus of the advertisement
was that it doesn’t smear on to masks.
So, I really wanted to try it
since I was very curious of whether this was true
Opening the lid of the compact,
I was able to see that it had a very simple design
with a puff inside.
The puff felt more plump than I thought.
I didn’t realize it when I took the picture,
but after some research, it is said that the puff
is densely perforated.
It is said that these small holes are made evenly apart from each other
so that the product can be absorbed and discharged evenly from the puff.
The protective seal is of the sticker type.
The cushion itself is a very soft sponge type.
Nature Republic’s Green Derma Mild Cica Serum Cover Cushion
comes in only two shades, so it was a bit disappointing.
It would have been much nicer if they
had came out with more various shades besides No.21 and No. 23
When I applied it on to the back of my hand,
it appeared to have applied thinly and closely on to my skin.
Once fixed, the tone changes subtly.
When applying on another layer on top,
I found that the change in tone was bigger than I had thought.
When I first applied them, they looked like a bright No. 17 and No.20,
but once fixed, the tone went down to a No.21 and No.23.
At first, No.21 looked too bright for me,
so I was about to use No.23,
but after trying it out on the back of my hand,
I decided to go and use No.21 on my face.
The coverage was pretty good,
and the cushion was quite thin.
The cushion felt comfortable on the face without leaving my skin feeling stuffy,
and after it was fixed on, my face felt a slight pulling sensation.
So I felt that the cushion felt a bit dry.
After applying it on, I tried wearing a mask,
and to my surprise, it really did not smear on to my mask as advertised.
The lasting also appeared quite good.
In addition, as it applies on thinly, I didn’t see any creasing or fine lines.
I also wasn’t able to notice any or my pores or any sign of caking.
Lastly and most importantly,
how was it like after having to wear a mask
for a long period of time.
After applying on the cushion,
I put on a mask and went out for a while.
The tip of my nose appeared as if it was scratched off.
As I was trying to fix the cover on my nose,
it got a little clumpy, so it was a bit frustrating to touch up with.
If your skin usually feels dry,
I recommend that you thoroughly moisten your skin
during your skin care routine.
As long as you moisturize your skin during your skin care routine,
the cushion be good to use on all skin types
except for those with severely dry skin.
As this is a cushion that finishes smoothly without smearing,
if your skin tends to produce a lot of oil,
and you find having to apply power after applying on your foundation
to be a hassle, I recommend trying out
Nature Republic’s Green Derma Mild Cica Serum Cover Cushion 😊
